During the weekend of October 8-9, Carol Jackson, our Executive Director was provided the privilege to host the Becoming One Conference where Families Matter was a Legacy Sponsor. This conference provided facilitation to approximately 225 Ministry Couples where 129 Churches represented the couples.

African American Wellness Walk Held October 23rd

Families Matter joined forces with the African American Male Wellness Agency (AAMWA), sponsoring this first-time event in Memphis, encouraging boys, young men, and seasoned men to take care of their health in order to create, build, and sustain lifelong positive relationships with their families and children. The event featured a 5K walk, free health screenings, a kids area, and entertainment for everyone.
