An Evening to Remember: Reflecting on the 2026 Collaborate & Celebrate Dinner Gala
If you missed the Families Matter annual Collaborate & Celebrate Dinner Gala on June 18th, you truly missed an unforgettable evening filled with profound purpose, inspiration, and deep community connection. Held at Second Presbyterian Church at 6:00 PM, the magnificent event brought together dedicated supporters, local leaders, and community partners for a powerful showcase of the impactful work being done across Memphis.
From start to finish, the energy in the room was a vibrant reminder of what happens when a city unites for a common cause. Guests were treated to an exceptionally meaningful program featuring encouraging words from our vital partners, beautiful presentations, and the clear highlight of the night: moving personal testimonies from participants in the A Father’s Involvement Really Matters (AFIRM) program.
The atmosphere became truly electric as fathers shared their stories of personal transformation. Hearing firsthand accounts of strengthened relationships with their children, renewed self-confidence, and restored hope for their family units left everyone in attendance deeply inspired. Their raw, powerful experiences perfectly reflected the Families Matter core mission to strengthen families, change lives, and transform Memphis.
It was a beautiful, celebratory milestone that demonstrated how whole communities are permanently uplifted when individual families are supported. We are immensely grateful to everyone who attended and helped make the 2026 gala our most impactful yet—it was an evening that will be talked about for months to come!
