| Dr. Myra Taylor led, educated, supported, and brought to life our young women’s program – Principles for Excellence in Womanhood. Dr. Myra worked with young women at the Mt. Vernon MB Church Summer Camp program. The program received rave reviews from participants and staff. |
| Michael Arnold, Patrick Batson, Breon Franklin, Ivory Jackson, and David Young traveled to Bethesda, Maryland, to participate in the NPCL Conference, in collaboration with Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, the author of the AFIRM Co-Parenting Curriculum. Each staff member supported Carol Jackson, conference presenter, as she led a workshop discussing the highs and lows of implementing the Families Matter AFIRM program. |
